Beach - Garbage and Tsunamis?

Hola Familia,

How is everyone dong this wonderful week?

This week was awesome.  We went to this place in our Zone that is pretty far away, about 45 minutes on a bus, to visit a family there.  So we went and did a family home evening Monday and then went again on Friday to go and help them do some service.  It was super awesome and a great experience and they were really grateful.  The people here are so humble and it is just so cool to see them grow and become closer to God.

This week we went and helped cleaned the garbage that has been thrown down on the beach.  We cleaned with the Stake and then the community and it was a great time to be able to give back to the community.

This week we had to evacuate our area because of the earthquakes in Chile.  So they thought that there was going to be a tsunami in Ilo.  So we all had to go up to the pampa, higher area in the city and just wait it out.  But nothing happened and it was quite the experience.

This week we had a lesson with one of our investigators where we were teaching her about the plan of salvation.  It was a super cool lesson and you could really see that she wanted to know where she came from and what she need to do in this life to return to her Father in Heaven again.  We then were talking about the baptism and we invited her to be baptized to be clean of her sins and she has a date for the 3rd of October.  She is awesome and her family is helping her a ton.

I would like all of you to think about this question.  Do you really know who God is, what he looks like, how he is and what he has done for us?  If not I would like to invite all of you to know God.  If we do not understand the basics of this Gospel how are we supposed to be ready to be exalted and to become gods?  Just start with the basics and then climb the ladder.  Our life is about progression and to prepare us to meet with God again.

I have been reading a lot of talks and I know that the Prophets are called of God and receive revelation in these latter days.  We just need to listen and follow the councils.

I love you all so much.  I am so grateful for all the many blessings that you guys have given me and for this chance to really preach this amazing gospel.
